MultiPower Hybrid: blue is the new green!
The life of a typical low power diesel generator is miserable. While sized to handle the highest load that may occur, the average load is often less than 20%. The result is excessive fuel consumption, elevated exhaust pollutant levels, and soot formation in the cylinders, increasing maintenance and reducing engine life. The MultiPower Hybrid combines synchronizing inverter/chargers, a generator, a battery and a control system in one container. Generator use can be minimized with a MultiPower Hybrid. The generator will run only when the batteries need recharging and during periods of peak load, when the combined generator + inverter power is needed. Whenever the generator is online, it will run at its most efficient load point. Experience has shown that installation of a MultiPower Hybrid will result in:
Generator run hours can be reduced even further by adding solar and/or wind power to the system. |
Two AC inputs with integrated transfer switch. The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, for example shore-side power and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro will automatically connect to the active source.
